Like I said in an earlier post, I realized that I forgot to post some sessions and this is one of them.  These are pictures from Chase’s newborn session.  He is older than this now, but they are still so cute!!  He is such a cute baby and so little!!  I just loved meeting him and his family.  Can’t wait to post the next session from his Baby Program.

Colter is a handsome and well behaved Baby Program client.  I was going to post his latest session and then realized I didn’t post his first session!!  I have to get better at this.  So, this post you are getting two for one.  I just love watching them grow up.  See how much he has changed in 3 months?!  And I included his birth announcement in the first set for those of you who are interested in seeing some examples of those.

So, summer has ended and so has our blog contest.  Thank you for all of you who participated and sent in pictures.  I was so excited to see where our bag went this summer.  Next year, you are going to have to have me in the picture so I can go to all of these cool places too!!!

Now is the next step.  One of the contest categories is “fan favorite.”  This is where everyone can participate.  To submit your vote, place a comment under the original post.  One “vote” per visitor per entry (you can vote for multiple clients just once per client).  So, if you didn’t enter you can help someone else win.  Or if you did enter, write all of your friends and family to vote for your pictures.  Make sense?  Voting will end on August 31 so if you are busy with going back to school this week, you will have time to vote.  Can’t wait to see how many votes we get!!!

Oh, if you haven’t sent me your pictures already, please do so soon.  The deadline is August 14.  Didn’t we get some great entries this summer?!

Our latest entry to the Bag Contest is from Lucy.  Lucy is one of our favorite friends.  She and her husband are always making me do crazy things that I would never do without them like…  camping in December with freezing weather and rain!!!  The latest thing they have talked me into is an Avitt Brothers concert at a state fair in October.  Aaahhh me…  we love them and their son very much.

Lucy is also the Youth Minister at our church.  She took the Youth to Alaska this summer for a mission trip and lucky me, she took her bag too!!  Her first description of the pictures was this: “These photos were taken at a Tlingit Native American Totem Park Village in Ketchikan, Alaska.”  When I asked her for another description, she and one of the Youth came up with these…  they made me laugh!  Thanks Lucy!!  Let me know which one is your favorite.

“This pole represents the famous Tlingit legend of when Okka Chooka  went shopping without a bodyguard. They mounted the piece in the center of the village to remind everyone that safety and cool bags are a number one shopping priority with the tribe.”

“All the other beavers think they’re soo cute with their Vera Bradley- they have no idea.”
