Today I was able to participate in the 2008 Buddy Walk sponsored by the Downs Syndrome Family Alliance of Greenville. My sweet friend Rachel asked if I would photograph the event for the members as well as Greenville Magazine. I was honored to be asked and had a great time. Here are some of my favorite images.
Several of the families made their own T-shirts and wore them with pride.
There was not a lack for dancing at the walk. It should have been called the Buddy Dance!

After the awards ceremony, the children released butterflies. It was a very exciting finale to a wonderful afternoon.
